A small house for pieces with a past.
Maison Imhauser started with a single closet and a simple standard: list only what I would be glad to keep. It has grown into a small, independent resale house for secondhand and vintage clothing and accessories, run by hand and sold through Poshmark, eBay and Mercari.
Every piece is inspected, cleaned, measured and photographed before it is listed, and described plainly, flaws included. The point is not volume. It is finding the next person who will wear something well-made for another decade.
Leather bags and small leather goods. Wool, cashmere and merino knitwear. Silk, outerwear, dresses and shirting. Shoes and boots. The occasional piece of denim. Designer, contemporary and true vintage, in that order of frequency.
Privately, one piece at a time, and never in bulk. If you have a closet, a collection or an estate to place, I am glad to talk about consignment or outright purchase.
